What a gift to parents and families! This has been an excellent tool to guide parents and their children through the problem solving process. It takes the guess work and stress out of helping your child to succeed in math. Natalie W. - Elementary School Principal

Word problems are a nightmare for even the best students. Picture-It Math helps take the guess work out of solving this type of problem. The step-by-step format is easy to follow and gives kids a sense of accomplishment. It is an "I can do it" system. There are so many games out there to practice math, finally there is something to really teach kids a strategy to learn the "how to". I strongly encourage parents and students to give Picture-It Math a try! I know I was amazed with the results. Carolyn D. - 5th grade teacher

Math was never my favorite subject. I use to dread my 5th grade daughter coming home and asking for help with her math homework, especially when she needed help with word problems. My daughter and I have been using the Picture-It Math program for the past two months and her math grades have really improved. Picture-It Math walks us through problems step by step. It's easy and I am even learning to enjoy math. Jennifer P. - Parent

Math is my favorite subject and I am good at it but I would be lying if I said that I like word problems. They are hard not because of the math part but because you have to figure out what to do. Picture-It Math is awesome because when you use the steps what to do just kind of jumps out at you. The thing I like the best is that it always works! The thing I have to remember is not to get too cocky and skip steps! I like Picture-It Math a lot, it makes my favorite subject even better! Eric G. - Student

As a parent, I believe Picture-It Math is a great resource to enable me to help my children learn difficult math concepts. It simplifies math. Ed M. - Parent

Picture-It Math has been a wonderful tool in teaching students the process of problem solving. I have had gifted students in the area of mathematics that can generate an answer without understanding the process. My students do not have strategies or tools to use when breaking down a complicated story problem. Even more frightening, story problems are mirror images of everyday adult life. Youth today, need a tool to overcome the fear of the text involved in story problems and solve the math as they do in rote practice. Picture-It Math is a tool that demonstrates 10 easy steps in breaking down any problem and allows my students the confidence to tackle problems that in the past would have brought tears of frustration. Alissa K. - Teacher of Twice Exceptional Students

This is a multi-sensory program which teaches students one of the most difficult processes in math, solving word problems. Picture-It Math teaches students ten specific steps that are used to solve every word problem. Each step is read orally and discussed by class, teacher, or individual student. Drawings, colors, and highlighting allow kids to see each step. Students then use pencil and paper to write or draw each step that has been discussed and seen. Through the utilization of repetition and stimulation of all the senses my students have a better understanding of the whole process involved in solving word problems. Picture-It Math is an extremely effective program that is helping my students develop the skills necessary to solve word problems. They are actually beginning to enjoy the challenge of word problems. Deb Z.-Sp.Ed.Teacher

My third grade students loved doing Picture-It Math right from the start! I used the program as a transition from Reading to Math, and the students were always eager to see what the word problem for the day was. All students were engaged as we worked through the problem together. Those students who tuned out to math word problems kept attentive to the screen as it helped us set up how to solve the problem. This visual program definitely helped all students become more confident in seeing and using words and numbers in math! Sue B. - 3rd Grade Teacher
